The Eyedropper tool in Photoshop picks a color to assign a new foreground or background color. You can take a sample from the active image open in Photoshop, or from any other part of the interface. But did you know that you can use a color swatch outside of the Photoshop application interface? Well, my friends, you can!
If you want to get the color that you saw on a website or in a book that you read on your computer, or in fact everything that is displayed on your computer screen, you can do it with an eyedropper. This tip will save you time by taking screenshots and transferring them to Photoshop to determine color values.
So, here's how to do it:
1. You need to open the document in Photoshop.
2. Arrange the windows so that Photoshop does not fill the entire screen. Install Photoshop on one side and open the browser window or whatever you want to use on the other side of the screen. Like that:
2. Select the Eyedropper tool (Shortcut I).
3. Click and hold the eyedropper on the Photoshop document, then drag it outside of Photoshop to where you want to sample clipping path service the color. The eyedropper icon will be displayed as long as you hold down the mouse or stylus button.
4. As you drag the eyedropper, the foreground color in the Photoshop toolbar will change.
That's all! Easy and time-saving.
If you found this tip helpful, I would really appreciate it if you could share it. Thanks! ๐
