Of course, all the strongest must compete in the second Major of the season. A special feature of the tournament will be its location: the scenic Ocean Course in Kiawa Island, South Carolina. Golfers have stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, but at the same time playing on a fairly open field with strong winds is very difficult. Add to that the field is an impressive 7,849 yards. The Ocean Course was named the most challenging course in the United States in 2010 by Golf Digest magazine, and it is included in the list of the best courses in the world every year. For the first time in nine years, a major tournament is to be held here. In 2012, the last time the PGA Championship took place here, Rory McIlroy won.
